How it works…
A person requesting help calls (630) 377-6610 and leaves their name and a telephone number. The answering service then delivers the caller’s name and number to a volunteer that is willing to talk with the person requesting help. The volunteer then calls the person requesting help. Additionally, the answering service provides pertinent information to aid in recovery. Additional information provided includes:
- the District 61 website
- local meeting information
- surrounding district’s contact information
- other 12 step program contact numbers
